Jivan Himalaya

Goat Farm
DonateKnow More
In Nepali, “Jivan” means “life.” It is our hope that the people of Nepal may know that Jesus is “the way, the truth, and the life.”
Jivan Himalaya partners with men and women serving as pastors and church planters and who work among many of Nepal’s unreached people groups. The church is growing in Nepal, but still there are those in remote mountainous areas who have never heard the name of Jesus!

We are assisting rural pastors and church planters Nepal in becoming self-sufficient as they work to expand their ministries. These village leaders have little to no income or resources for their work. Jivan Himalaya is trying to generate income for them by starting a goat farm. Currently, the farm is home to 47 goats, but has a capacity for 200. Future goals for the business’s expansion include: purchasing more goats for the farm, supplying the farm with a truck, hiring a manager for the business, and starting a meat shop in the local town.”
